I painted this with the intentions of using it for Christmas cards...maybe next year. Chickadees are such a pretty bird and look so good next to bright red holly berries; a perfect combination for a Christmas painting.

I asked myself, “When can you call yourself an artist?”. The answer came when I realized that I was creating unique, exceptional works of art.
